March came in like a sweet little lamb up here so I have a feeling winter is not over yet, but on my walk today I did spy some brave pussywillows on sunny branches so it feels like spring can't be too far off. The last few months have been a blur of skiing, sickness, and basement renovations. It seems like our house has been a revolving door of illness these last three months. Hopefully the longer, brighter days will let us bust out of that pattern. Can't complain really as it has been a fantastic winter otherwise. Here are a few pics taken in the last little while.

Oui, allo?
Our neighbours Heather and Jeremie came by and scooped up Sylvie for a dogsled ride around our neighbourhood trails a few weeks ago. Jeremie used to run dogs out near Annie Lake and borrowed a few of his team back for an afternoon to take the kids at the school on rides, and they dropped by afterwards. Needless to say Sylvie was totally thrilled.
Mr. Busypants up to his usual tricks.
Sylvie, Owen and Reid clapping for joy!
Dear uncle Carl is no longer gracing our house, well, our back mudroom really (Carl's room, as Sylvie calls it) and the house now feels a little emptier.
(This picture is virtually a miracle since he's terrified of the camera and runs for his life at the sound of it turning on, which he can detect even from the other side of the house, even while in a deep slumber.) Oh Carl.

wonderful photos - just shows how much Sylvie and Reid are growing up and the very busy household. Things are really happening and you all look after each other - how great is that! Nan
