Hard to believe summer's almost done! Feels like we're just getting started. We've had a fantastic couple of months of visitors... since having Grandma and Grandpa we've seen Beck and Christopher, Nan and Granddad, Dave, Jen and Sadie, then Care, Ad and wee Violet, and the stream continues. Wonderful! Here are some pics of various good times had with some of these great folks...

Trying out the double bike trailer.
Hanging out on the beach at Carcross. We convened here with a few other families and the parents took turns mountain biking while the other had beach time with kidlets.

A bear on a bike!
(actually, a bear with a bear on a bike)
On the stoop with Carolyn, Adam and Violet who made the long trek up from Vancouver by car.

Reid.
He's crawling now. Has four teeth. Feeds himself. Nine months old. Wha' happened?

On the deck with Nan. Its been fantastic having her here for the past month - Sylvie and Reid both adore her, and she's a huuge help. She just left to meet Granddad and paddle the Lower Stikine River. Nice for us to be a small part of the trip preparations and vicariously experience a wee bit of the excitement!

Hiking down the ridge towards Kusawa Lake with Care, Ad and Violet.

Reid on Kusawa Ridge.

Ruby posing as a human with her little dog 'Chase' at the Marsh Lake dog show in the 'dress-up your dog' category. Ruby cleaned up in several categories - won a fancy collar and some nice bones in the obedience and agility categories. Clearly, a high calibre event ;)

S and S - queens of cool strutting their stuff on the Miles Canyon bridge over the Yukon River.
Sylvie insisted that she wear her fleece hat and mitts to go out and pull Reid in the wagon. She just got the hang of dressing for winter when summer came along. How inconvenient. And now things are cooling off again for the fall...
