Hard to believe summer's almost done! Feels like we're just getting started. We've had a fantastic couple of months of visitors... since having Grandma and Grandpa we've seen Beck and Christopher, Nan and Granddad, Dave, Jen and Sadie, then Care, Ad and wee Violet, and the stream continues. On the deck with Nan. Its been fantastic having her here for the past month - Sylvie and Reid both adore her, and she's a huuge help. She just left to meet Granddad and paddle the Lower Stikine River. Nice for us to be a small part of the trip preparations and vicariously experience a wee bit of the excitement!

Sylvie insisted that she wear her fleece hat and mitts to go out and pull Reid in the wagon. She just got the hang of dressing for winter when summer came along. How inconvenient. And now things are cooling off again for the fall...
