Back in the 'Horse

We're checking in from Whitehorse, where we arrived just about a month ago after a busy time packing up and moving out of Victoria (we moved out of our great little house on Bow and Arrow just two days after Pete wrote the bar exam). It's great to be back and we've been loving the chilly fall weather, hiking, cranberry picking, visiting with friends, etc. We also bought a great house that we'll be moving into about 2 weeks before baby Laos is due to arrive. Sylvie has handled all the changes quite gracefully, but often reminds us with her strong will that she is now TWO!!! As if we could forget. She has lots of words, is very social, and makes us laugh every day. Not sure that she fully understands what's in store with a new sibling on its way very soon, but then again, I'm not sure we do either! So, here's a little picture update of these last months, including our visit to Ottawa, and the ferry from Victoria to Whitehorse - highly recommended as a way to come up and visit us! Much love to all...

The Sandi-clan... a rare glimpse of the whole brood in the same place at the same time

Mr.Gumpy's Outing seemed to be the theme book for this cottage visit. Several gumpy-ish boat outings were made where every warm body from the cottage squeezed in, but we managed to avoid the big SPLASH at the end.

YAY! So glad you've finally posted more pics. That is one of our dream trips: train across, ferry up, train in. One day, perhaps....

Thanks for the update!! I like the one of Sylvie picking berries in her life jacket, as if she might drift off in a sea of blueberries any moment.
